Description
The Mauser semi-automatic pistol was the first successful automatic military grade handgun. Paul Mauser patented the Model 96 Mauser automatic pistol in 1896, and it was used by European, North and South American, African, Australian and New Zealand, and Asian armies until the 1950s. Its success as a semi-automatic weapon was largely due to the simpatico of actions enabling firing, spent round ejecting, fresh round chambering, and cocking, all from the recoil of the first shot. Loading rounds into the magazine is also fast and easy
